Public Service Division is seeking an Assistant Director, CCA Training & Programmes to lead strategic student development initiatives. The role focuses on designing engaging CCA and wellness programmes, governance and policy oversight, and risk-aware operational excellence.
You will drive stakeholder collaboration, partner with community organisations, and mentor senior staff to strengthen capability in governance, engagement, and safety management within a two-year contract.
This is a 2-year contract position as an Assistant Director, CCA Training & Programmes in the Student Development Office.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop, curate and implement an appropriate and appealing suite of CCA and physical wellness programmes that drive student participation and support the development of holistic competencies, well-being and personal growth beyond the classroom.
Review and provide oversight of CCA governance frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality programme delivery in alignment with institutional requirements.
Establish clear escalation and decision-making frameworks, ensuring student-related incidents, including injuries, safety and compliance issues, are resolved through timely intervention, clear escalation protocols, and systemic corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align student development initiatives across the Polytechnic, and build and sustain strong partnerships with community organisations and external stakeholders to enhance programme impact and student development outcomes.
Coach and mentor Senior Managers and Managers to strengthen individual and team effectiveness, foster a collaborative culture and build staff capabilities in student engagement, governance and risk management, while supporting professional development and well-being.
