Job summary

You will follow instructions for timely food preparation, organize workstations and assist other cooks as needed. The role requires teamwork, adherence to recipes, and the ability to stand for extended periods while lifting moderate weights. You will maintain hygiene, support kitchen operations, and help ensure customer orders are fulfilled

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
• Proven experience working as a Cook.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals under supervision to meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals under the guidance of the Head Cook or Chef to meet quality and safety standards
• Clean and sterilize food preparation areas to maintain hygiene and comply with safety regulations
• Assist other cooks to complete food orders accurately and on time
• Ensure cooking utensils are cleaned before each use to prevent contamination
• Resolve problems with customers’ orders efficiently to maintain satisfaction
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth and efficient kitchen operations
• You should also be able to ensure that the refrigerators and storerooms are kept clean and tidy.
• Follow food preparation and hygiene practices to ensure safe food handling
• Stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights to support kitchen activities
