Job summary

HUA RONG ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled professional to assist in managing construction contracts and subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance and timely execution across projects in Singapore.

You will oversee contractual claims, monitor project costs and budgets, and liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers to resolve issues, supporting risk management and contract administration with a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in QS, Eng, CM, or related field.
• Experience in Singapore’s construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, subcontract management, and contractual claims.
• Familiar with Singapore construction industry practices and procedures.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with responsibility and proactivity.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction contracts and subcontract agreements to ensure compliance and effective execution.
• Oversee progress claims, variation orders (VO), extensions of time (EOT), and other contractual claims to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, payments, and contractual compliance to control financial performance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve contractual matters and facilitate collaboration.
• Assist in contract negotiations to optimize cost control and mitigate commercial risks.
• Support the Contract Manager in daily contract administration and handling project commercial matters to ensure smooth operations.
