Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Review structural and civil engineering plans, drawings, and calculations in accordance with project specifications, standards, and codes of practice.
2. Coordinate and liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of works.
3. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure structural works comply with design, safety, and quality standards.
4. Identify and resolve engineering issues or discrepancies arising during design and construction phases.
5. Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
6. Participate in project meetings and provide technical advice as required.
7. Submit shop drawings and material samples for conformance with project specification and requirement.
8. Assist construction manager & quantity surveyor in project progress claim.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Familiar with relevant local codes, regulations, and authority submission requirements.
4. Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD.
