Job summary

k e wee & associates pac is seeking an experienced auditor to supervise and review statutory audits and unaudited statements in Singapore. The role involves handling larger or complex engagements and supporting the preparation of consolidated financial statements, with opportunities to participate in other assurance projects.

The candidate should have ACCA or a degree in accountancy, at least 5 years external audit experience (including 2 years in Singapore), and strong English communication

Qualifications

• ACCA or Degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 5 years’ external audit experience including at least 2 years of external audit experience in Singapore.
• Good knowledge of accounting, auditing and Financial Reporting Standards.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients.
• Good work attitude with keen interest in auditing profession.
• Candidates must be able to adapt to our Firm’s work standards, procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and reviewing audits of statutory financial statements and unaudited statements.
• Lead and manage larger or complex audit engagements.
• Prepare and compile unaudited statutory financial statements (including consolidated statements).
• Participate in other assurance assignments and special projects.
• Train and coach audit seniors and assistants.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Assist in supervision, management and review of audit of statutory financial statements, other financial information and preparation (compilation) of unaudited statutory financial statements

• Perform and manage engagements for larger or complex audit engagements and other assignments

• Preparation and compilation of unaudited statutory financial statements (including consolidated financial statements)

• Participate in or assist in other assurance assignments and special projects

• Training and coaching of audit seniors and assistants

• Other tasks as may be assigned
