Job summary

ACUMEN AUDIT PAC in Singapore seeks an experienced auditor to lead engagements under SSA and firm methodologies, ensuring quality throughout the audit process.

You will plan, perform risk assessment, financial statement testing, and supervise junior team members to deliver timely, well-documented conclusions.

The role requires strong communication with clients, clear reporting, and strict adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Professional qualification or pursuing CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit engagements in line with SSA and firm methodologies.
• Perform planning, risk assessment, testing, and ensure documentation compliance.
• Prepare and review working papers to support audit conclusions.
• Supervise and review juniors, guiding quality and timely completion.
• Escalate significant issues to Audit Manager and Partner.
• Present progress, risks, adjustments, and judgments during reviews.
• Incorporate feedback and clear review points before completion.
• Communicate findings and status updates to clients.
• Assist in preparing audit reports, management letters, and deliverables.
• Support managers and partners in client relationships and service quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit engagements in accordance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and firm methodologies.
• Perform audit planning, risk assessment, financial statement testing, and ensure audit documentation is complete and compliant with professional standards.
• Prepare and review audit working papers to ensure audit procedures are properly performed and conclusions are appropriately supported.
• Supervise and review the work performed by junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to ensure quality and timely completion of assignments.
• Escalate significant audit issues, accounting matters, and key findings to the Audit Manager and Partner for review and resolution.
• Present audit progress, key risks, audit adjustments, and significant judgments to the Audit Manager and Partner during engagement reviews.
• Incorporate review comments from the Audit Manager and Partner and ensure timely clearance of review points before audit completion.
• Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and status updates to clients.
• Assist in preparing audit reports, management letters, and other deliverables.
• Support Audit Managers and Partners in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality audit services.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting
• 2-5years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Professional qualification or pursuing CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of SFRS, SSA, and audit methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
