Job summary

ROBIN CHIA PAC is seeking an Audit Associate in Singapore to contribute to audit engagements and fieldwork, while developing expertise in auditing standards and financial reporting.

You will assist in planning, performing fieldwork, and preparing schedules and statements, ensuring compliance with SFRS and SSA, under deadlines and in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in accountancy or related field.
• 1 year of audit experience minimum.
• Basic knowledge of SSA and SFRS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements to support audit team objectives
• Perform audit fieldwork and substantive testing to verify financial data accuracy and compliance
• Prepare detailed audit schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation for audit reviews
• Compile financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Manage audit assignments to ensure completion within stipulated deadlines
• Communicate professionally with clients to maintain positive working relationships
• Adhere to professional auditing standards, internal procedures, and ethical requirements throughout audit processes

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of audit working experience
• Basic knowledge of Singapore Auditing Standards (SSA) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
