Job summary

ACUMEN ASSOCIATES LLP in Singapore is seeking an Audit professional to lead and execute engagements under SSA standards. You will handle planning, risk assessment, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance and quality.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting is required or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Professional qualification or pursuing CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of SFRS, SSA, and audit methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute audit engagements in accordance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and firm methodologies.
  • Perform audit planning, risk assessment, financial statement testing, and ensure audit documentation is complete and compliant with professional standards.
  • Prepare and review audit working papers to ensure audit procedures are properly performed and conclusions are appropriately supported.
  • Supervise and review the work performed by junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to ensure quality and timely completion of assignments.
  • Escalate significant audit issues, accounting matters, and key findings to the Audit Manager and Partner for review and resolution.
  • Present audit progress, key risks, audit adjustments, and significant judgments to the Audit Manager and Partner during engagement reviews.
  • Incorporate review comments from the Audit Manager and Partner and ensure timely clearance of review points before audit completion.
  • Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and status updates to clients.
  • Assist in preparing audit reports, management letters, and other deliverables.
  • Support Audit Managers and Partners in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality audit services.

Job Requirements

1.Degree in Accounting

2.2–5years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm.

5.Strong analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.
