Job summary

YBP in Singapore seeks an Audit Senior to lead statutory audits from planning to completion, supervise junior staff and be the main day-to-day contact for clients. You will ensure audits are conducted in accordance with SSAs and SFRS(I).

You will manage engagement timelines and budgets, communicate findings to client management, and coach junior team members while building strong client relationships in a dynamic firm environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong analytical, communication and time-management skills.

As an Audit Senior, you will lead statutory audit engagements from planning to completion, supervise junior staff and serve as the main day-to-day contact for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete statutory and special-purpose audits in line with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSAs)
• Lead and supervise audit teams on fieldwork, and review the work of associates
• Identify and assess audit risks, and design appropriate audit procedures
• Prepare financial statements and audit reports under SFRS(I) / SFRS for Small Entities
• Communicate findings, control weaknesses and recommendations to client management
• Manage engagement timelines and budgets, and keep managers and partners informed of key issues
• Coach and develop junior team members

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification (ACCA, CA (Singapore), CPA or equivalent); progress towards full membership is a plus
• 2-4 years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm
• Sound knowledge of SFRS(I) and SSAs
• Experience leading audit fieldwork and supervising a small team
• Strong analytical, communication and time-management skills
