Job summary

YBP Library Services in Singapore seeks an Audit Senior to lead statutory audits from planning to completion, supervise junior staff and serve as the main day-to-day contact for clients.

You will plan, execute audits in line with SSAs, review fieldwork, assess risks, and prepare financial statements under SFRS(I) / SFRS for Small Entities, while managing timelines and budgets and mentoring the team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA) or equivalent.
• 2–4 years external audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS(I) and SSAs; experience leading fieldwork.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete statutory and special-purpose audits in line with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSAs)
• Lead and supervise audit teams on fieldwork, and review the work of associates
• Identify and assess audit risks, and design appropriate audit procedures
• Prepare financial statements and audit reports under SFRS(I) / SFRS for Small Entities
• Communicate findings, control weaknesses and recommendations to client management
• Manage engagement timelines and budgets, and keep managers and partners informed of key issues
• Coach and develop junior team members

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification (ACCA, CA (Singapore), CPA or equivalent); progress towards full membership is a plus
• 2–4 years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm
• Sound knowledge of SFRS(I) and SSAs
• Experience leading audit fieldwork and supervising a small team
• Strong analytical, communication and time-management skills
