Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking a technically skilled field-support professional to deliver product information, diagnose issues, and conduct hands-on testing for customers and sales teams in Singapore.

You will travel to client sites, provide on-site setup and training, develop manuals, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to policies.

Job Summary

Deliver accurate technical information regarding products, applications, and problem diagnosis to sales representatives and clients. Conduct hands‑on product application testing and system troubleshooting. Possess strong interpersonal communication, active listening, and structured problem‑solving skills to ensure exceptional customer support.

Principal Duties & Tasks

• Handle inquiries from sales representatives and clients via phone and email regarding product capabilities, specifications, and practical applications.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues remotely (phone/email) and on‑site.
• Perform product application testing for internal sales teams and prospective clients.
• Travel to client sites to provide technical support, including system setup, calibration, and fine‑tuning.
• Deliver post‑sales technical and application training to customers.
• Develop, refine, and maintain training manuals and technical documentation.
• Assist sales teams with technical presentations and product demonstrations during client visits, as needed.
• Proactively identify opportunities to optimize operational efficiency and initiate continuous improvement projects.
• Adhere to company policies, standards, and operational guidelines.
• Undertake additional technical duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Engineering (e.g., Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related technical disciplines).
• Demonstrated problem‑solving capabilities to diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage tasks and project timelines effectively.
• Active listening skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, simple language.
• Excellent analytical skills to break down complex data and technical information.
• High service orientation with a proactive attitude toward customer support and relationship management.
• Familiarity with Logic Control systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Serial, Modbus TCP, Ethernet, Ethernet/IP).
• Familiarity with HMI programming.

Good to Have

• Practical experience with sensors, actuators (e.g., DC motors, encoders, relays, solenoids), or Stepper/Servo Motors.
• Familiarity with database languages (SQL / MySQL).
• Exposure to programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
• Basic knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Keyence, Omron, Beckhoff).
