Job summary

Future Electronics Inc (Distribution) Pte Ltd is seeking a Procurement & Inventory Executive to manage regional inventory levels within a defined product portfolio and ensure timely purchases.

You will work with local and international suppliers, optimize stock turns, and coordinate with Marketing and APDC to resolve discrepancies and returns.

This role requires a Diploma and at least 2 years purchasing experience; strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification or equivalent in a relevant field is required.
• 2 years of purchasing or similar experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Place daily purchases using IMS, from local suppliers or via global transfers.
• Review backorders to optimize PBO inventory.
• Coordinate stocking programs with Product Marketing.
• Profile inventory (bond, customer-specific, NCNR).
• Coordinate programs to decrease bad and excess inventory.
• Resolve pricing discrepancies with marketing and suppliers.
• Resolve receiving discrepancies with APDC/marketing.
• Resolve rejected transfers with Corporate or UK.
• Manage RTV quality issues with suppliers.
• Coordinate stock rotation with Marketing and Senior PM Asset and arrange returns with APDC/RMA.
• Ensure prompt release of purchase orders to suppliers.
• Ensure documents for CUSPEC/NCNR parts are in place.
• Adhere to Asset Buy Process SOP.
• Meet quarterly inventory/PBO targets.
• Provide guidance to MSR.
• Weekly review with Senior Product Manager Asset on Inventory/PBO and related issues.
