Job summary

Achieve Group is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to support electronics sourcing, supplier management and NPI in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. You will drive cost, quality and delivery while collaborating across Asia and Europe with R&D, Quality and Operations.

The role focuses on supplier strategy, product transfers, ramp-up activities and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen supplier performance and cost competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics required.
• Minimum 5 years in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience across engineering and sourcing/procurement.
• Approximately 3–5 years in the electronics industry.
• Strong experience with electronics suppliers and/or EMS partners.
• Proven capabilities in supplier performance management, project coordination and negotiation.
• Experience supporting NPI, product transfer and manufacturing ramp-up.
• Good understanding of contract negotiation and commercial sourcing.
• Familiarity with SAP, Teamcenter and Microsoft Teams.
• Exposure to plastics moulding would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage electronics and other commodities, ensuring competitive cost, quality and supply performance.
• Support supplier selection, sourcing and supplier strategy development.
• Drive supplier performance improvements across Quality, Delivery, Cost and Responsiveness.
• Conduct regular pricing reviews and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and cost reduction.
• Lead procurement activities for NPI, product transfers and production ramp-up.
• Support supplier sourcing, development, commercial negotiations and project execution.
• Work closely with R&D, Quality, Operations, Procurement, EMS partners and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Facilitate effective cross-functional decision-making and clear communication between internal and external stakeholders.
• Support supplier quality, audits and continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with Quality Engineering.
• Coordinate MRB processes and suppliers on disposition of non-conforming materials.

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Engineer / Senior Procurement Engineer to support electronics sourcing, supplier management and new product introduction within a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.

This role will be responsible for driving the right balance of cost, quality, delivery and supplier performance, while supporting product transfers, EMS ramp-up activities and collaboration across teams in Asia and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned electronics and other commodities, ensuring competitive cost, quality and supply performance.
• Support supplier selection, sourcing and supplier strategy development.
• Drive supplier performance improvements across Quality, Delivery, Cost and Responsiveness.

What We Are Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience across engineering and sourcing/procurement.
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience within the electronics industry.
• Strong experience working with electronics suppliers and/or EMS partners.
• Proven capabilities in supplier performance management, project coordination and negotiation.
• Experience supporting NPI, product transfer and manufacturing ramp-up activities.
• Good understanding of contract negotiation and commercial sourcing.
• Familiarity with SAP, Teamcenter and Microsoft Teams.
• Exposure to plastics moulding would be advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and geographical regions.

This is a hands-on procurement engineering position with strong exposure to electronics sourcing, supplier development, NPI and cross-regional manufacturing projects. You will work closely with technical and operational stakeholders and play an important role in strengthening supplier performance, managing supply risks and improving overall cost competitiveness.
