Job summary

Macquarie Asset Management is seeking an Asia Business Development Director to lead strategy and growth across Asia Wealth, focusing on Singapore and Southeast Asia. The role emphasizes deepening distributor relationships and delivering investment insights and access.

You will collaborate across Asia and Global Wealth groups, attend key conferences, and ensure regulatory and client reporting for distributors, with a senior, permanent track.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sales/relationship management across Asia Wealth market.
• Proven ability to create a strategic plan and identify key decision-makers.
• Track record of converting relationships to flows and growing AUM.
• Fluency in Mandarin is advantageous for Singapore’s wealth hub.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business strategy to grow brand and capabilities across Asia Wealth.
• Provide top-level sales coverage and deepen distributor partnerships.
• Attend industry conferences and coordinate with Asia and Global Wealth groups.
• Meet regulatory and client reporting requirements for wealth distributors.
