Job summary

Schroders in Singapore is recruiting for an Investment Associate in the Asia private equity team. The role supports due diligence, market research and transaction analysis across India, Australia and Japan, with collaboration across Asia and global teams.

This is a career track role with potential advancement within Schroders’ Asia practice. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in economics/finance/business with CFA/CAIA, and have 3–6 years’ direct PE/VC exposure, investment banking or related

Qualifications

Bachelor in Economics, Finance or Business Administration with CFA/CAIA encouraged.
3–6 years in direct private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or related fields.
Strong due diligence, valuation/ modelling and deal execution capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

Support execution of investment due diligence for private equity/venture capital funds and co-investments.
Conduct industry research and develop market/sector insights for covered geographies.
Drive transaction assessment including secondary and primary research, comps and valuation modelling.
Assist in preparing investment recommendations for Schroders Capital Investment Committee.
Help develop relationships with fund managers and industry advisors.
Assist in preparing client pitches and new marketing material.
Support portfolio monitoring of co-investments and quarterly investment updates.
