Job summary

GLAS is expanding its Asia presence with a mid-level Asia Business Development Associate. The role focuses on originating and converting new business across Singapore, Hong Kong and wider Asia, working alongside the Head of Business Development, Asia, and the APAC Sales team.

The successful candidate will build market coverage, nurture priority relationships with banks, funds, and advisers, and contribute to GLAS’ debt administration and related services.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing prospects, supporting pitches and progressing opportunities through a sales pipeline.
• Fluency in English is required; additional Asian language capability is advantageous.
• Strong presentation, written communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across Singapore and wider Asian markets.
• Support the Asia business development plan in alignment with APAC/global growth priorities.
• Build and maintain a disciplined pipeline across GLAS service offerings.
• Undertake targeted prospecting and market outreach across client segments and service lines.
• Support client meetings, pitches, proposals and commercial discussions.
