Job summary

KFC Asia is seeking a Head of FIT & FSQA to lead regional food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across Asia, partnering with markets, suppliers, distributors, and restaurants to protect the brand and enable growth.

The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, building capability, aligning standards with Yum China and Yum Supply Chain, and driving continuous improvement while staying close to in-market realities and kitchen development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health, or related field.
• 10+ years in food safety/quality assurance and/or product development with multi-market leadership.
• Deep knowledge of HACCP, GFSI, sensory standards, and incident/crisis management.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across functions and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Set regional FIT & FSQA strategy for Asia in partnership with Global FSQA and Food Innovation leads.
• Serve as primary FSQA partner for Yum China and Yum Supply Chain; align standards and drive governance.
• Lead Asia FIT with local QA talent; develop plans and codify best practices across markets.
• Strengthen franchisee/licensee FIT & QA capability with standards, toolkits, and training frameworks.
• Own regional performance management: track key food safety and quality metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain on in-restaurant safety programs and product quality excellence.
• Provide FIT & FSQA leadership for new market entry and significant business changes.
• Ensure specifications are current and compliant with local regulatory requirements; collaborate with Innovation/Ops.
