Job summary

STPI in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Artwork Management assistant to support operations across exhibitions, projects, art fairs and inventory. You will help ensure proper care of artworks, maintain accurate records in Artlogic, and coordinate movements and logistics on site.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's degree and experience in museum or gallery operations, with strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in museum or gallery operations or artwork handling would be advantageous.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate artwork management requirements for art fairs, including condition checks, framing, photography, packing and on-site support during installation and deinstallation.
• Support sales and after-sales requirements, including artwork viewings, pricing exercises, photography, quotations and delivery of artworks and CoAs.
• Maintain complete and accurate artwork records in Artlogic and relevant master lists, including registration details, condition records and movements.
• Assist with stock takes, investigate discrepancies and reconcile inventory records to ensure artworks are accurately accounted for.
• Facilitate day-to-day artwork retrieval and movement, ensuring safe handling and accurate location records.
• Work with internal departments and external vendors to meet project requirements and maintain effective relationships.
