Job summary

IN GREAT COMPANY CREAMERY PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Baker to prepare, produce, and finish a wide range of bakery products, ensuring high quality and consistency.

The role is hands-on and detail-oriented, perfect for those who take pride in delivering excellent baked goods. The position is based in Toa Payoh with a morning straight shift from 7:00 to 16:00, including a 1-hour meal break. Alternate 5/6 work weeks with Sundays off.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Baking & Pastry or relevant culinary qualifications preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a bakery, café, or food production environment (entry-level candidates with strong interest and training will be considered).
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards
• Good time management skills and ability to handle production schedules.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and other bakery products according to recipes and schedules.
• Ensure consistency, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery and adhere to food hygiene and safety standards (SFA compliance)
• Assist with recipe development, seasonal product launches, and special menu collaborations.
• Monitor ingredient and supply inventory; report needs and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
• Operate bakery equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to support smooth daily operations.
