This role requires early hours and weekend work, the ability to lift up to 20kg, and a calm, focused work ethic as you support a small team and contribute to a steady, welcoming bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Working 6 days a week.
• Prior baking experience in a commercial or retail setting.
• Solid understanding of baking techniques and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work early mornings and weekends as required.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a calm, focused work ethic.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Able to lift goods up to 20kg (e.g. a sack of flour).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a range of breads, pastries, and other baked items
• Follow established recipes and maintain a high standard of quality and hygiene
• Monitor ingredient levels and assist with stock rotation
• Work within a set schedule to ensure timely product availability
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Support the team in day-to-day tasks as needed
