Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to work early shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistent product quality
• Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently
• Monitor baking processes, including fermentation, proofing, and oven temperatures
• Ensure all products are freshly baked and presented attractively for customers
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and work area in compliance with food safety standards
• Check the quality of raw materials and report any issues to the supervisor
• Manage stock levels of ingredients and assist in inventory control
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and company guidelines
• Work closely with the team to meet daily production targets
