Job summary

One World International School, Singapore is seeking a Secondary ART Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across the full age range, design, prepare and implement lesson plans, and assess student progress. You will lead activities, ensure safety, and contribute to the school community with inquiry-based learning approaches.

The role requires a recognised teaching qualification and at least two years of full-time teaching experience with strong knowledge in Art.

Qualifications

Hold a recognised teaching qualification certificate.
Demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher.
Possess strong knowledge and practical experience teaching Art.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons across the full age range to build foundational knowledge and skills in students.
Design, prepare, and implement lesson plans that support learners’ understanding of the subject.
Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing reports to parents during meetings.
Lead and participate in extra-curricular activities, school events, assemblies, staff training sessions, and meetings.
Promote and maintain health and safety standards within assigned classes.
Apply inquiry-based learning techniques to foster critical thinking and student engagement.
