Job summary

One World International School, Singapore is seeking a Secondary ART Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across the full age range, design, prepare and implement lesson plans, and assess student progress. You will lead activities, ensure safety, and contribute to the school community with inquiry-based learning approaches.

The role requires a recognised teaching qualification and at least two years of full-time teaching experience with strong knowledge in Art.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification certificate.
• Demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher.
• Possess strong knowledge and practical experience teaching Art.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across the full age range to build foundational knowledge and skills in students according to the school’s curricular programmes
• Design, prepare, and implement lesson plans that support and enhance learners’ understanding of the subject.
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly, setting measurable goals for improvement and providing detailed reports to parents during meetings
• Lead and participate in extra-curricular activities, school events, assemblies, staff training sessions, and meetings to contribute to the school community
• Promote and maintain health and safety standards within assigned classes to ensure a secure learning environment
• Apply inquiry-based learning techniques to foster critical thinking and student engagement in the classroom
