Job summary

• Exemplary teaching and learning skills in Visual Arts.
• Outstanding organisational/administrative skills for data and curriculum docs.
• Strong commitment to a professional learning community.
• Ability to work with teams and promote quality teaching and learning.
• High level of communication with students, colleagues, parents and community.
• Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
• Proven capacity to fulfil core responsibilities.
• Position commences January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Set appropriate Visual Arts tasks and activities with differentiation.
• Regularly check student work and provide feedback to parents and students.
• Keep up with new technologies and encourage appropriate technologies in Visual Arts.
• Set assessment tasks to measure outcomes (formative & summative) and respond to student needs.
• Maintain records of student achievements for assessment.
• Maintain communications with students and parents.
• Complete student reports diligently.
• Care for school resources and act on damage promptly.
• Regularly reward students for good achievement (e.g. merit certificates).
• Encourage involvement in the Exhibition process.
• Other duties as consulted with the Visual Arts Coordinator and Head of Elementary.
