Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or relevant certification preferred.
• Minimum four years teaching experience.
• Experience working with neurodiverse students is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of differentiated and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Ability to design engaging, hands-on and sensory-aware learning experiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent command of English.
• Commitment to creativity, inclusion and student-centered learning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that encourage creative exploration, skill development.
• Adapt teaching approaches to support diverse learning needs with scaffolding and demonstrations.
• Break down complex artistic processes into manageable steps to build confidence.
• Encourage students to express ideas, emotions and experiences through creative practice.
• Develop students’ understanding of materials, tools and processes with safety in mind.
• Assess student progress through observation, portfolios and feedback.
• Communicate progress with parents and collaborate with support teams.
• Organise school art exhibitions and curate artistic experiences.
• Lead at least one art-related activity each term (e.g., clay, ceramics).
• Participate in school events and enrichment programs.
