Shopee in Singapore is seeking a dynamic leader for Team & Sales Performance Management and Event Preparation. The role focuses on guiding the field sales team to achieve KPIs and sales targets while supervising performance review meetings and training sessions.

You will coordinate site promotions, venue permissions, and on-site activations, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolution of issues. Frequent travel to regional sites and a 6-day work week are expected.

Job description

1. Team & Sales Performance Management

• Manage, lead, and supervise the field sales team to maximize operational efficiency and consistently achieve defined KPIs and sales targets.
• Conduct weekly and monthly performance review meetings and report progress to executive leadership.
• Organize regular training sessions, refresher courses, and skill assessments for team members.

2. Event Preparation & On-site Sales Activations

• Location Permitting & Pre-event Promotion: Liaise with venue owners to secure site permissions, and coordinate online marketing/PR campaigns targeting the local area prior to events.
• Site Inspection: Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate and ensure venue readiness against established criteria.
• Equipment & Marketing Collateral Setup: Prepare and manage point-of-sale displays, event hardware, and props (e.g., standees, booths, Wi-Fi setups, and promotional giveaways).
• On-site Issue Resolution: Identify, document, and swiftly elevate technical or operational on-site issues to the management team.

3. Performance Reporting

• Compile and deliver accurate daily sales and operational performance reports to management.
• Identify, monitor, and report operational bottlenecks and on-site challenges immediately.
• Prepare comprehensive post-event reviews covering overall sales performance, execution efficiency, and key outcomes.

4. Travel & Work Flexibility

• Travel regularly to upcountry/regional areas to oversee on-site activations and ensure smooth operations.
• Willingness to work 6 days per week and adapt working schedules according to event/field activation timelines.
