Job summary

Bank of Singapore, a member of OCBC Group, seeks an Area Product Owner to support the Product Owner on Equities trading applications. You will gather requirements across Trading, Operations, Compliance, and Technology, translate them into stories, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives within a fast-paced investment platform.

You will collaborate with brokers and internal teams on FIX connectivity, perform impact analysis, and help drive testing, governance, and documentation to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, IT or related field.
• 3–5 years in Product Ownership, BA, or trading technology support.
• Experience gathering requirements and producing specs, flow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
• Understanding equities trading workflows, OMS/EMS, and broker connectivity.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol messaging and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from Trading, Operations, Compliance, and Technology stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into user stories, functional specifications, processes, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform impact and gap analyses for system enhancements and vendor releases.
• Support backlog management, sprint planning, prioritisation, and release activities.
• Coordinate with developers to ensure solutions meet business needs and strategic goals.
• Support broker onboarding, FIX connectivity, and trade flow analyses.
• Assist testing, defect triage, and UAT to ensure quality releases.
• Prepare product reporting and governance updates.
