Job summary

Bank of Singapore, part of OCBC Group, is seeking an Area Product Owner to support the Product Owner on initiatives related to the Equities trading applications/platform. You will gather business requirements, write user stories, and work with development teams to ensure solutions meet business goals.

Role requires a background in product ownership or trading technology, familiarity with FIX, and experience in Agile delivery. Join a dynamic team within our COO Office division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in Product Ownership, BA, or Trading Tech support.
• Understanding of equities trading workflows and broker connectivity.
• Familiarity with FIX Protocol and electronic trading.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from Trading, Operations, Compliance, and Technology stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog management, sprint planning, prioritisation, and release activities.
• Coordinate with brokers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve connectivity and trade processing issues.
