PERSOL in Singapore is seeking a workflow-forward architect/designer to blend architectural design with computational methods, BIM workflows, and generative AI. You will work on live project deliverables while developing repeatable digital workflows that improve speed, coordination, and decision-making.
The role involves contributing to concept design through to documentation, building practical AI-enabled workflows, and translating AI outputs into buildable project information.
Shape project outcomes by blending architectural design with computational methods, BIM workflows, and practical use of generative AI. Work on live project deliverables while developing repeatable digital workflows that improve speed, coordination, and decision-making.
Contribute to concept design through to documentation and delivery, supporting coordinated project outcomes
Build and refine practical workflows that connect BIM, computational design tools, data, and automation
Develop design optioneering approaches (including analysis and data-driven studies) to help teams evaluate options efficiently
Apply generative AI tools to support ideation, analysis, visual communication, and documentation where they add clear value
Translate AI/computational outputs into buildable, coordinated architectural information for project use
Automate repetitive tasks across documentation, reporting, and project communications to improve consistency and turnaround time
Prototype and validate new AI-enabled workflows on live projects, then document successful approaches as reusable playbooks
Take ownership of defined design or design-technology work packages under project leadership direction
Support project teams in adopting new workflows and identifying scalable methods that can be reused across projects
Participate in project discussions with external parties as required, presenting design and digital recommendations
Degree in Architecture (or equivalent qualification)
Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in architectural design, computational design, or digital design
Experience contributing to design development and coordinated project delivery across multiple stages
Strong working capability in computational design tools (e.g., Rhino and Grasshopper, or comparable platforms)
Working BIM capability with the ability to contribute to architectural documentation (experience with Revit preferred)
Hands-on experience using generative AI tools in design or delivery workflows
Ability to integrate multiple tools and data sources to support end-to-end project workflows
Strong design judgement, an experimentation mindset, and the ability to turn prototypes into usable project processes
Experience across the BIM lifecycle is preferred
Additional strengths that are beneficial: scripting/automation (e.g., Python or visual scripting), model coordination platforms, or experience translating computational outputs into BIM and construction documentation
