Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an architectural designer who can bridge design, computation, BIM, data, and Generative AI to transform experiments into tangible, buildable project outcomes.

You’ll work on real projects, developing practical workflows from concepts to options, models, and documentation. The role focuses on integrating AI-driven design methods with traditional workflows, coordinating with BIM teams, and delivering coordinated architectural information across project stages.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or equivalent; portfolio demonstrating architectural design capability and project delivery awareness.
• 3–5 years of relevant architectural, computational-design or digital design experience.
• Experience participating in architectural design development and coordinated project delivery across multiple project stages.
• Strong capability in Rhino and Grasshopper, or comparable computational design platforms.
• Working BIM capability, preferably Autodesk Revit, with the ability to contribute to architectural documentation.
• Hands-on experience with contemporary Generative AI tools and workflows.
• Ability to connect multiple tools and data sources rather than operate within a single software ecosystem.
• Strong design judgement, experimentation mindset and ability to convert prototypes into practical workflows.
• Full BIM lifecycle experience is strongly preferred.
• Python, Dynamo, APIs, scripting, data processing or workflow automation experience.
• ACC, BIM 360, Navisworks or similar platforms.
• Experience with real-time rendering, Adobe Creative Suite or AI-assisted visual communication.
• Experience translating computational design outputs into BIM and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute directly to architectural concept design, design development, multidisciplinary coordination, documentation and project delivery.
• Own defined architectural or design-technology work packages under the Project Architect / Digital Delivery Lead.
• Develop computational and generative approaches to design optioneering, analysis, data-driven design and repetitive production tasks.
• Develop workflows connecting Autodesk Revit, BIM, Rhino, Grasshopper, data, automation and Generative AI.
• Apply contemporary Generative AI tools to ideation, analysis, visual communication, documentation and decision support where they add practical value.
• Translate computational or AI-assisted design outcomes into buildable, coordinated architectural information.
• Automate repetitive elements of design, documentation, reporting and project communication.
• Prototype new AI-enabled and agentic workflows on live projects; test practical value and document successful methods as reusable playbooks.
• Work closely with the BIM-focused Architectural Designer to maintain reliable information flow between design, computation and BIM.
• Help project teams adopt new capabilities and identify which workflows can become differentiated client solutions or new advisory offerings.
• Progressively participate in client, consultant, contractor and site activities; present your own design and digital recommendations

Brief Summary

• This is not a traditional visualisation role. We are looking for an architectural designer who can connect design, computational thinking, BIM, data and Generative AI - and turn experiments into buildable, coordinated project outcomes.

Requirements
