Job summary

Aedas, one of the world’s leading architecture design practices, invites a design-focused Architect to join its Singapore team. You will develop and refine design concepts and documentation while coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and a minimum of 2 years’ experience from concept through construction documentation. Proficiency in BIM (Revit Architecture), Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, with familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience from concept through design development and construction documentation.
• Experience in large-scale hotel or mixed-use developments is an advantage.
• Proficient in BIM (Revit Architecture), Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with statutory submissions and local regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine conceptual, schematic, and detailed designs.
• Prepare and manage architectural drawings and documentation, including revisions.

Job Summary:

Develops and refines design and documentation. Coordinates with clients, consultants, and contractors. Delivers project components with growing autonomy and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine conceptual, schematic, and detailed designs.
• Prepare and manage architectural drawings and documentation, including revisions.
• Coordinate design input with consultants, contractors, and external design teams.
• Participate in meetings and site visits.
• Conduct compliance checks according to statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Support project leaders with change documentation.
• Proficiency in conceptual and technical design.
• Ability to produce and coordinate comprehensive project documentation.
• Effective problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Able to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Good understanding of built environment trends, technologies, digital tools, workflows.
• Good understanding of environmental sustainability and green building methods.

Requirements & Attributes:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years of experience from concept through design development and construction documentation.
• Experience in large scale, hotel, mixed use development will be an advantage.
• Proficient in BIM (Revit Architecture), Bluebeam and Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign).
• Familiarity with statutory submissions and controls, along with a strong understanding of local regulations and codes.
• Other professional certifications such as GMAP or GMAAP and UD Assessor will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
