Job summary

NEWCON BUILDERS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable Project Assistant to support the Project Manager in day-to-day operations of live construction sites.

You will liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, and owners to ensure timely progress and resolve discrepancies in drawings. You will check drawings, raise technical queries, and participate in inspections to confirm works meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Architectural or equivalent with relevant working experience.
• At least 3 to 5 year(s) of working experience in the relating field is required for this position.
• HDB/Residential project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring and managing day-to-day project operations.
• Liaise with consultants and/or sub-contractors on project matters.
• Attend regular meetings with owner/client/contractors/sub-contractors on project matters.
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve discrepancies between drawings and during project execution.
• Carry out in-progress and joint inspections to ensure works meet required quality standards.
• Assist Project Manager on tasks assigned.
