Job summary

dp architects is seeking a junior architect to assist in multiple architectural projects in Singapore. The role focuses on translating design concepts into workable solutions while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

You will support the Architect with tender drawings, material specs, and coordination with consultants and contractors. Ideal candidates hold a recognized architecture degree, are familiar with BCA BIM e-submission guidelines, and have exposure to Autodesk Revit

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in architecture or equivalent; registration with Board of Architects, Singapore preferred.
• Proficiency with BCA BIM e-submission standards and guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit Architecture; experience with BIM is a plus.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of fundamental architecture principles, building codes and construction materials.
• Research materials, methods and construction techniques to support design decisions.
• Interpret design concepts and translate them into workable solutions while ensuring quality and authority compliance.
• Conceptualize and present design proposals to stakeholders.
• Assist and support the Architect in executing multiple architectural projects.
• Assist in preparing tender drawings and material specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure seamless integration.
• Assist the project Architect on site implementation.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of fundamental principles and practices of architecture, construction materials and methods, and building codes;
• Research on materials, methods, and construction techniques;
• Interpret design concept and translating them into workable solution and ensure design quality and authority compliance;
• Conceptualize and present design proposal;
• Assist and support Architect in executing multiple architectural projects;
• Assist in tender drawings and material specifications;
• Assist in liaising and coordinating with consultants and contractors;
• Assist project Architect on site implementation.

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree in Architecture or equivalent, registrable with Board of Architects, Singapore;
• Well-verse in Singapore BCA BIM e-submission process, requirements and guidelines;
• Excellent knowledge and experience of Autodesk Building Design Suite software including Revit Architecture;
• Completed BCA Academy’s BIM Modeling and BIM Management would be an added advantage;
