Job summary

M.A.N ARCHITECTS (GLOBAL) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Architectural Assistant to support design development and client liaison.

You will prepare preliminary and conceptual designs, coordinate with clients and authorities, and develop tender-ready construction details. Applicants should hold a B.Arch or equivalent, be eligible to work in Singapore, and have strong skills in AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Singaporean or PR eligible to work in Singapore.
• Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year and above experience in a local architectural firm.
• Familiar with local authorities’ regulations and submission procedures.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of BIM (Revit); BIM modelling experience is a plus.
• Professional proficiency in English and good computer literacy.
• Positive team player, able to work under pressure; meticulous and independent.

Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with clients representative on all project issues.
2. Liaise with Partners /Architects on Client’s design brief, existing site conditions and authorities’ regulatory guidelines prior to design stage.
3. Prepare preliminary and conceptual designs according to parameters determined in (1) above. Prepare presentation drawings.
4. Revise and develop designs to client’s approval and authorities’ requirements.
5. Develop design details for tender and construction.

Requirement:

• Singaporean or PR.
• Minimum B. Arch. Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year and above experience in local architectural firm.
• Familiar with local authorities’ regulations and working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures.
• Well versed in AutoCAD, Revit and Sketchup.
• Knowledge of BIM (REVIT). Experience in BIM modelling would be an advantage.
• Must be literate in English and have good computer literacy.
• A positive team player who is able to work well under pressure.
• Meticulous, self-motivated and independent.
