GL Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an Architectural Designer to support design, development, documentation, and coordination from concept through construction. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and authorities to ensure compliance with client requirements and timelines.
The role emphasizes producing detailed drawings, BIM/ CAD outputs, and coordinating across disciplines, with a focus on accuracy and timely submissions.
The Architectural Designer will be responsible for supporting the design, development, documentation, and coordination of architectural projects from concept design through to construction and completion. The role involves working closely with architects, consultants, engineers, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure that projects comply with applicable client/user requirements, authority requirements and project timeline.
Develop architectural concepts, design proposals, space planning, layouts, and detailed drawings.
Prepare design studies, presentation materials, renderings, and visualisations where required.
Assist in developing architectural solutions that meet the client's requirements, project brief, budget, and programme.
Review and incorporate design changes throughout the project.
Prepare architectural drawings, details, schedules, specifications, and submission documents.
Produce drawings using AutoCAD, BIM (Revit / Archicad), SketchUp, or other relevant BIM/CAD software.
Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with project requirements.
Assist in preparing and coordinating submissions to relevant authorities, including URA, BCA, SCDF, NParks, LTA, NEA, PUB and any other relevant authorities.
Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E, civil and other specialist consultants.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor architectural works and design implementation.
Min Degree in Architecture, preferable equivalent to Singapore BOA : Part II
Min 5 years relevant experience in architectural projects.
Strong knowledge in Authority requirements.
Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM, SketchUp will be an advantage.
Good understanding of architectural detailing, construction methods, and building materials.
Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects or deadlines.
Ability to interpret and coordinate among architectural, structural, and M&E drawings.
