Job summary

OPSWAT is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive growth and adoption of MetaDefender NetWall across APAC. You will act as the SME, partnering with sales, product, and engineering to deliver innovative solutions for critical infrastructure sectors such as energy, manufacturing, and government.

You will combine deep networking and OT expertise with business development insight to identify opportunities, support complex customer engagements, and influence product strategy for growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales, Network Architect, or similar roles.
• Strong expertise in data networking technologies and protocols including BGP, routing, and SD-WAN architectures.
• Solid background in OT environments and familiarity with ICS protocols.
• Proven ability to translate complex tech solutions into clear business value.
• Experience leading PoC engagements and technical solution design.
• Strong skills in technical documentation, requirements definition, and business case development.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel 25–30% across the APAC region.

The Position

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect professional to drive the growth and adoption of OPSWAT’s MetaDefender NetWall across the APAC region.

MetaDefender NetWall enables secure, real-time data transfer between networks of different security classifications, helping protect critical OT environments and industrial systems from network-borne cyber threats.

In this role, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the NetWall product line, partnering closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions to customers operating in critical infrastructure sectors such as energy, manufacturing, transportation, and government.

You will combine deep technical expertise in networking and OT environments with business development insight to identify new market opportunities, support complex customer engagements, and influence the product strategy for future growth.

This role is based in APAC and requires regional travel to support customer engagements, industry events, and partner development activities.

What You Will Be Doing

Technical Leadership & Customer Engagement

• Serve as the technical expert for MetaDefender NetWall across the APAC region.
• Partner with the sales team to design secure OT network architectures and deliver solution-driven presentations to customers and partners.
• Lead technical workshops, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements to validate solutions and achieve technical design wins.
• Guide customers through prequalification, architecture design, and deployment planning.

Market Development & Strategy

• Identify new market opportunities and emerging use cases for MetaDefender NetWall in critical infrastructure and industrial environments.
• Develop business cases, technical requirements, and market insights to support product expansion.
• Collaborate with the product team to translate customer needs into product enhancements and roadmap input.

Sales Enablement & Partnerships

• Develop solution positioning, technical messaging, and sales enablement materials to help internal teams effectively present security offerings.
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships with technology vendors, system integrators, and industry partners to expand the reach of the NetWall product line.
• Represent OPSWAT at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical events across the APAC region.

What We Need From You

• 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Engineer, Network Architect, or similar technical customer-facing role
• Strong expertise in data networking technologies and protocols, including BGP, routing, and SD-WAN architectures
• Solid background in Operational Technology (OT) environments and familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and common industrial protocols
• Proven ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value for customers
• Experience leading Proof-of-Concept engagements and technical solution design
• Strong skills in technical documentation, requirements definition, and business case development
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical engineers and executive stakeholders
• Willingness and ability to travel across the APAC region (approximately 25–30%) to support customer meetings, technical workshops, industry conferences and partner engagements.
