in Singapore seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, optimize processes, and ensure high availability of critical applications including in-house SCADA, Energy Management System, and Power Quality Management System developments. You will lead the Application and Operations teams, coordinate with development, QA, IT, and senior management to deliver on-time software solutions, implement policies, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in SCADA industry and operations management.
• Strong technical background with knowledge of SCADA.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Manage budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Lead and mentor the Application team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Handle operational issues and resolve them promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans.
• Manage and oversee the development of in-house SCADA, Energy Management System and Power Quality Management SYstem application development lifecycle, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and IT operations to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead incident management and problem resolution efforts, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of application and operational processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the application and operations teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in SCADA, Building Management System, Energy Management System and Power Quality Management System.


• Knowledge of IT networking, Server setup, VMs setup, Cloud configuration.


• Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
