Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, HVAC Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum five years in HVAC, precision cooling, chiller systems, data center infrastructure, or critical facilities engineering.
• Proficient in reviewing technical specifications, drawings, and tender documentation.
• Strong knowledge of cooling technologies, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and system design principles.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into practical, commercially viable solutions.
• Excellent customer-facing, presentation, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, manufacturing, projects, and service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical proposals, compliance matrices, equipment selections, and tender documents.
• Review cooling-load calculations, system designs and product configurations.
• Provide expert guidance on precision cooling, chilled water, liquid cooling, airflow management.
• Lead technical discussions during sales meetings, product presentations and workshops.
• Serve as primary technical contact during bid and proposal process.
• Coordinate with regional engineering, manufacturing, project and service teams.
• Facilitate smooth handover from sales to execution teams and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Engage with consultants, data center operators, end users and EPC contractors.

• Prepare detailed technical proposals, compliance matrices, equipment selections, and tender documentation to support bids
• Review cooling-load calculations, system designs, and product configurations to validate solution effectiveness
• Provide expert technical guidance on precision cooling, chilled water, liquid cooling, air handling, and airflow management systems
• Lead technical discussions during sales meetings, product presentations, workshops, and customer engagements
• Serve as the primary technical contact throughout the bid and proposal process to ensure alignment and clarity
• Collaborate effectively with regional engineering, manufacturing, project, and service teams to coordinate project activities
• Facilitate smooth project handover from sales to execution teams and assist in resolving technical issues promptly
• Engage with consultants, data center operators, end users, M&E contractors, and EPC contractors to align solutions with stakeholder requirements
• Monitor industry trends, emerging cooling technologies, and competitor solutions to inform innovation and strategy
• Coach and mentor application engineers to enhance technical capabilities and project delivery quality

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, HVAC Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in HVAC, precision cooling, chiller systems, data center infrastructure, or critical facilities engineering
• Proficient in reviewing technical specifications, engineering drawings, and tender documentation
