Job summary

Our client, a global MNC serving the semiconductor industry, is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join its Singapore team. In this pre-sales technical role you’ll be the trusted technical expert for front-end wafer fab and semiconductor OEM customers turning their needs into solutions with the sales and engineering teams.

You’ll advise on fluid and gas delivery applications, investigate on-site issues, assess sites for performance improvements, develop solution proposals, and lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in front-end semiconductor Capital Equipment or wafer fabs manufacturing environment.
• Strong semiconductor fundamentals and cleanroom knowledge.
• Experience in UHP tube welding or gas/fluid delivery systems or OEM NPI/HVM weld qualifications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with customer engineering teams.

Responsibilities

What we’re looking for

• Solid semiconductor fundamentals and knowledge of cleanroom operations
• Experience in at least one of: UHP tube welding, UHP gas and fluid delivery systems, or qualification of OEM NPI/HVM weld assemblies
• Strong troubleshooting skills and confident with customer engineering teams
