Job summary

AlpSoft Technologies Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced pre-sales technical specialist for vacuum pump solutions used in semiconductor manufacturing. You will engage customers to understand process requirements and recommend optimal solutions.

Collaborating with Sales, Engineering and Service, you will prepare proposals, conduct demonstrations and support tenders. Travel to customer sites locally and occasionally overseas is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical/electronics, chemical engineering or related fields.
• 3–5 years in semiconductor equipment, vacuum tech or industrial equipment.
• Experience with vacuum pumps or semiconductor process equipment preferred.
• Background in Pre-Sales, Application Engineering or Technical Sales is advantageous.
• Good understanding of vacuum applications and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Strong presentation and consultative selling skills; able to work with customers and teams.
• Willing to travel locally and occasionally overseas.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support for vacuum pump solutions used in semiconductor manufacturing.

• Engage customers to understand process requirements, technical specifications and application needs, and recommend suitable solutions.

• Prepare technical proposals, product presentations, specifications and quotations in collaboration with the Sales team.

• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations and customer discussions to communicate solution benefits.

• Work with Engineering and Service teams to evaluate pump performance, system compatibility and application requirements.

• Support Sales in customer visits, product evaluations, tenders and new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines.

• 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment, vacuum technology or industrial equipment.

• Experience with vacuum pumps, semiconductor process equipment or related components is highly preferred.

• Prior experience in Pre-Sales, Application Engineering, Sales Engineering or Technical Sales is advantageous.

• Good understanding of vacuum applications and semiconductor manufacturing processes.

• Strong presentation, communication and consultative selling skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.

• Willing to travel to semiconductor customer sites locally and occasionally overseas.
