Job summary

AlpSoft Technologies Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced pre-sales technical specialist for vacuum pump solutions used in semiconductor manufacturing. You will engage customers to understand process requirements and recommend optimal solutions.

Collaborating with Sales, Engineering and Service, you will prepare proposals, conduct demonstrations and support tenders. Travel to customer sites locally and occasionally overseas is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical/electronics, chemical engineering or related fields.
• 3–5 years in semiconductor equipment, vacuum tech or industrial equipment.
• Experience with vacuum pumps or semiconductor process equipment preferred.
• Background in Pre-Sales, Application Engineering or Technical Sales is advantageous.
• Good understanding of vacuum applications and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Strong presentation and consultative selling skills; able to work with customers and teams.
• Willing to travel locally and occasionally overseas.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support for vacuum pump solutions in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Engage customers to understand process requirements, specifications, and application needs; recommend solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, presentations, specifications, and quotations with Sales.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions to communicate benefits.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Service to evaluate pump performance and system compatibility.
• Support Sales in customer visits, evaluations, tenders, and new opportunities.
