GitLab is seeking a Manager, Sales Recruiting (APJ) to lead the Sales recruiting across the APJ region, partnering with regional Sales leaders to hire quota-carrying and GTM talent that supports GitLab's growth. You will design hiring strategies that reflect market nuances, build a team of recruiters, and ensure a repeatable process with a strong candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Experience building recruiting teams for Sales or go-to-market organizations.
• Ability to earn trust with senior Sales leaders while remaining hands-on with recruiting.
• Data-driven approach to shaping recruiting strategy across APJ markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop recruiters supporting a variety of sales roles across APJ.
• Design recruiting strategies, structured interviews, and hiring frameworks that scale across APJ markets.
• Advise APJ Sales leaders on talent needs, market insights, and hiring trade-offs across markets such as Australia, India, Japan, Singapore, and Korea.
• Navigate compensation norms, notice periods, employment models, and candidate expectations with Legal, Compensation, and People partners.
• Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into recruiting processes and hiring decisions.
• Manage a personal requisition load when needed, focusing on senior and specialized Sales roles.
• Use recruiting data to track team performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve hiring strategies and candidate experience across the APJ Sales portfolio.
• Partner with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Enablement, People Business Partners, Compensation, and Finance on workforce planning and coordinated candidate and stakeholder experiences.
