Job summary

Yokogawa Electric Corporation in Bedok, Singapore is seeking an Advanced Process Control Engineer to deliver lifecycle support for APC solutions in industrial plants.

You will understand process requirements and develop APC applications using model-based and multivariable control technologies, collaborating with project managers, process engineers, DCS engineers, and customers to improve plant stability, throughput, energy efficiency, and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Chemical Engineering, Process Control, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in process control or related industries such as Oil & Gas or Petrochemical.
• Hands-on experience with DCS, PLC, OPC.
• Knowledge of APC, process modelling, tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lifecycle support for APC solutions in industrial plants.
• Develop APC applications using model-based and multivariable control technologies.
• Plan projects, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customers to improve plant performance.
