Aster Chemicals and Energy Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Process Control Engineer (Digital Technology) to lead Advanced Process Control and digitalisation initiatives across its Bukom Complex in Singapore.

You will evaluate, implement APC, AI/ML, and other advanced technologies to maximise safety, energy efficiency, and product optimisation. The role requires 6–8 years of experience in process engineering and APC, with hands-on programming and strong IT/OT integration knowledge.

Qualifications

Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Process Engineering and APC optimisation in oil & gas.
Hands-on programming experience in APC applications.
Strong knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals and applications.
Experience leading digitalisation projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, develop, and implement APC, AI/ML, and digitalisation solutions across refinery and chemical units.
Collaborate with APC engineers and stakeholders to close performance gaps.
Engage users in adoption of optimisation and digital technologies.
Work with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, secure, and effective deployment.
Build and improve digital capabilities within Process Technology Department.
Manage projects and vendors to deliver digitalisation solutions on time.
Stay updated on digitalisation and process control trends to drive value.
