Job summary

TEKNOR APEX ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer in Singapore to own and optimize PLC, SCADA, HMI, and drive systems across the plant.

You will ensure reliable control architectures and maintain backups, documentation, and change records. The role covers troubleshooting PLCs, developing and testing PLC logic, Ignition SCADA development, and leading root-cause analyses. You will collaborate with Maintenance, Production, and Vendors to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Automation or related field.
• 5+ years of industrial automation experience.
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system modifications.
• Familiarity with Ignition SCADA and industrial networks.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own PLC, SCADA, HMI, drives and control system performance.
• Develop, modify, test, and optimize PLC programs.
• Develop Ignition SCADA applications and screens.
• Lead automation-related improvements and risk assessments.
• Provide on-call and on-site support for automation incidents.
