Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Process Engineering and APC optimization in oil & gas.
• Hands-on programming experience in APC and process optimization.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals and applications.
• Experience with IT/OT integration, data analytics, and automation.
• Knowledge of SIS, process modelling, and Real-Time Optimization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and implement APC, AI/ML, and digitalization solutions across refinery and chemical units.
• Identify opportunities to improve process automation, control, and optimization with stakeholders.
• Engage users in adoption of optimization and digital technologies.
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, secure deployments.
• Develop, maintain, and improve digital solutions to maximize value.
• Build digital capabilities within the Process Technology Department through coaching.
• Manage projects and vendors for timely delivery of digital/optimization solutions.
• Stay current with digitalization and optimization tech to create ongoing value.
• Advocate for digital enhancements to boost productivity and performance.
