Job summary

Virtu Financial is seeking a Trading Operations Specialist to support client bookings and reporting for equities trading across the Asia Pacific region. This role covers the clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of trades and positions, coordinating with traders, finance, compliance, brokers, custodians, and customers to ensure timely settlement and accurate books.

Fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years in finance back office, strong English communication, and analytical skills are

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years’ work experience in finance back office functions (experience with Australia market will be a huge plus)
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate systems and diagnose issues
• Willingness to work early shift hours (Sydney timezone)
• Familiar with MS Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge with SQL and Python will be an advantage
• Proactive, willing to learn and able to work under pressure
• Attention to detail and a customer service attitude
