Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior recruiter to lead end-to-end hiring for Applied AI and technical roles across the APAC region. You will partner with hiring managers, source and interview top talent, and close candidates while shaping Mistral’s talent strategy in APAC.

You will navigate high-growth, competitive markets, leveraging ATS tools and AI-assisted recruiting to maintain a superior candidate experience. This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a growing startup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of total recruiting experience.
• Experience across agencies, high-growth startups, and enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated ability to hire at high throughput and scale in complex environments.
• Deep expertise in technical roles including FDE, SWE, MLE, Research Engineering, and Applied Science.
• Experience with recruiting tooling and automation.
• Experience in complex recruiting and autonomous hiring in outbound contexts.
• Experience recruiting in highly competitive talent markets.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to move between strategic topics and hands-on work.
• Capacity to quickly grasp new complex topics.
• Consultative skills to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive hiring for Applied AI and Solutions across the APAC region, with flexibility to support GTM and Corporate roles
• Partner with technical and business hiring managers to identify talent
• Own end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates
• Identify entrepreneurial, committed, and success-oriented candidates
• Guide candidates through the hiring process and present Mistral as an employer
• Develop and refine recruiting processes, tools, and documentation
• Use data to diagnose process issues and propose solutions
• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience in a competitive talent market
• Collaborate with colleagues to raise hiring standards
• Help define and evolve Mistral’s talent acquisition approach in APAC
