Job summary

MM CONSULTORIA RH is seeking a Senior Technical Market Development Manager in São Paulo for APAC market leadership in niobium-containing products. The role leads a multicultural technical team, provides customer technical support, and manages projects with budget planning.

Intensive international travel is required. Qualifications include advanced metallurgy/materials engineering, PhD/Master’s preferred, and 20+ years in steel mills with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in Materials, Metallurgy, Production or Mechanical engineering.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Materials/Metallurgy is highly appreciated.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential.
• Minimum 20 years’ experience in steel mills with related processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Asian customers (steel mills) and new prospects to solve problems and improve productivity.
• Lead and mentor a multicultural technical team of specialists.
• Coordinate multi-program leadership, budgets and project delivery.
• Research market needs and opportunities; build links with partners in supply chain.
• Travel extensively in Asia (Japan, South Korea, India, SEA) for customer interaction.
