Job description

Are you a skilled Titanium Process Engineer looking for a new opportunity to support and contribute to global projects? Our Employment Agency is currently working with a leading corporation based in China launching operations in Singapore for the South and East Asia market.

As a Titanium Process Engineer, your responsibilities include evaluating, developing, and implementing manufacturing and processing routes for titanium powder. You will enhance the correlation between process parameters and powder characteristics by expanding your knowledge base for spherical titanium alloy powders. Additionally, you will improve titanium powder yield by redesigning spheroidization equipment and explore new alloy powder manufacturing technologies. In this role, you will transfer technology from pilot equipment to manufacturing, troubleshoot production equipment, generate engineering reports, status reviews, and presentations. You will also analyze root causes, non-conformances, and complaints. Communication with vendors and participation in improvement activities are essential, and you will monitor material performance, evaluate material deterioration, analyze failure data and laboratory test results, and create charge calculations according to product specifications.

Requirements
  • Diploma or above in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or Engineering
  • Min of 3 years experience in process engineering, lean manufacturing or titanium alloy manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of relevant ISO will be an added advantage
